CONNECT Young Adult Ministry (21-35 year olds, singles and couples) from Ascension Lutheran Church is inviting all to join in this beach cleanup.
What: A beach cleanup to observe Earth Day! Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Don't forget to wear sunscreen and bring water! Afterwards, we'll all go out for lunch.
When & Where: Saturday, April 19th at San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura. You can carpool/caravan with us from the Ascension parking lot; we'll meet at 9:00am. Or, you can meet us at the beach at 10:00am if that's more convenient.
***To get to San Buenaventura Beach take the 101N, exit Vista del Mar Dr. Turn left on Vista del Mar and go over the freeway. Turn left onto Harbor Blvd. Turn right on San Pedro St. The beach entrance and parking lot will be on your right.***
Why: To cruise the beach with friends, get some fresh sea air, and help preserve the environment!
