Operation Embrace is a ministry of the Harbor Church to embrace, befriend and share the good news and teachings of Jesus Christ to the underserved, the disenfranchised, the poor, the homeless, the white collar workers, the blue collar workers and their families. We will support the Harbor by serving a hot breakfast, cooking, serving, and cleaning up after the meal. There will also be an opportunity to attend the service with the guests if you so choose.
Location: The Harbor, 3100 Preble Ave, Ventura, CA 93003 (www.theharbor.us)
Time:
6:00am - 8:00am: Start cooking
7:30am - 9:00am: Prep dining area and serve food at 8am
8:30am - 9:30am: Start to clean up and wash dishes
You can meet us anytime during the time periods listed above. We typically finish by 9:00am and are back in time to attend second service at our own home church.
You are free to interact as much or as little with the guests as you feel led. Please pray for a Divine appointment and allow the Spirit to lead you throughout the morning!
