Sunday (3/17): Les Misérables

Please join us for a movie showing of Les Misérables!! Movie synopsis: "Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love,
passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he
breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever."

Bring your dinner at 5pm or just come hang out prior to the movie.  At the conclusion of the movie, we'll have some discussion time regarding the central themes of the movie and relate it back to the
struggles/triumphs that we have in present day society.  Feel free to bring any movie snacks that you would like to enjoy and share, such as popcorn or candy.  Please bring your own blanket and pillow
or whatever you need to make yourself comfortable.  Looking forward to hanging out!
