The silvery shiny things are the grunion!!!
We were planning to go serve and worship at Harbor of Praise this weekend, but they cancelled it for this month. We are going to continue with our Friday night plan of dinner at The Lakes and for those who want to stay up late we'll check out the grunion run!!!
Dinner
6:00 pm: The Lakes in Thousand Oaks (2200 Thousand Oaks Blvd)
Bring food or grab something from a restaurant there. We'll be eating picnic style on the open grass area. A blanket or beach chair is a good idea!
Grunion Run
11:45 pm: Beach to be determined
Grunion are small fish that "run" onto the beach to mate. It is reportedly fun to see all these little shiny fish "running" up onto the beach and back.
