We're going to take a drive up the coast and spend some time enjoying the quaint Scandanavian town of Solvang. They have it all decorated for Christmas (sadly, we'll miss the official tree lighting as it's on Friday) and there is some fun festive stuff to do/see! Meet us to carpool @ 12:00 (1391 Breckford Ct. in Westlake)...it's about a 2 hour drive and we'll stay for dinner...don't know what time we'll decide to head back.
This was a great night last year and more is promised this time around! There will be snow hills for sledding, fire pits for s'mores, music, food, all the works!!! A time of worship led by the children starts at 4:00 and the rest of the festivities start at 5:00.
We have been asked to help supervise the firepits, so if you're interested/willing to take a "shift" let us know!
