We are taking the lead on a couple of projects to support the Summer of Service Kick-Off!
What is Summer of Service??
"Serve projects at Calvary have gone by many names over the last few years....Beyond the Walls, Serve Day, Serve Weekend and now....Summer of Service. We are not trying to confuse you but want the name to better encompass what we are trying to accomplish. Summer of Service is not just a catchy name but a desire to see God's people serving those in need more than just 1 day or weekend a year. And it allows our church to build more connection and continuity to the community and truly develop a culture of serving. Our prayer is that as you serve over the next few months that you will find a ministry, agency, or individual/family to continue to bless. We want serving to become a lifestyle at Calvary and not an event or program." - Korrie Chapman, Community Outreach Director
