Friday Night (4/13): Homemade Pizza!

We are going to get together for a casual night of cooking and hanging out.  The night's theme is pizza.  All the pizza components will be supplied; just throw in a couple of bucks to cover the cost.

We will gather at Johnny's house at 7pm.  Join us anytime!

Sunday (4/15): Serving Alongside Harbor Church

Operation Embrace is a ministry of the Harbor Church to embrace, befriend and share the good news and teachings of Jesus Christ to the underserved, the disenfranchised, the poor, the homeless, the white collar workers, the blue collar workers and their families. We will support the Harbor by serving a hot breakfast, cooking, serving, and cleaning up after the meal. There will also be an opportunity to attend the service with the guests if you so choose.

Location: The Harbor, 3100 Preble Ave, Ventura, CA 93003 (www.theharbor.us)

Time:
6:00am - 8:00am: Start cooking (The cooking will be done at Bible Fellowship Church as the kitchen at the Harbor is under renovation)
7:30am - 9:00am: Prep dining area and serve food at 8am
8:30am - 9:30am: Start to clean up and wash dishes

This month we are partnering with Bible Fellowship Church (BFC) who will be buying the groceries and cooking while we help with serving the food and cleaning up and washing dishes.  If you want to join me to help cook at BFC, call or text me for directions.

You can meet us anytime during the time periods listed above.  We typically finish by 9:30am and are back in time to attend second service at our own home church.

You are free to interact as much or as little with the guests as you feel led.  Please pray for a Divine appointment and allow the Spirit to lead you throughout the morning!

Sunday (4/15): 3rd Sunday

This month, 2nd Sunday fell on Easter Sunday, therefore, our 2nd Sunday has become 3rd Sunday.  The topic is still being worked out but it will be a great discussion time for sure!

Location: Calvary Room 1107
Time: 2:30 - 4:30pm

Join us for lunch at 1pm: Tikka Grill/California Crisp courtyard area (5790 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA; other choices nearby are Diary Queen, Japanese, Wendy's Zpizza, Panda Express, and Chipotle).  Just grab whatever sounds good and join us in the courtyard!

For those of you who have never attended, 2nd Sunday is a small group-like environment to promote our spiritual growth and occurs on the second Sunday of every month.  Our time is spent discussing the topic for the month and how we can apply the learning to our walk. Bring your bibles!
