Saturday (June 1st) - Serve Day with Habitat for Humanity

The Annual Serve Day is this Saturday.  This volunteer opportunity is for a new home construction in Santa Paula.  No experience is necessary and all construction tools, equipment and instruction will be provided.  This project has a requirement for each participant to be 16 years of age or older; there are other projects that are kid friendly.  We begin at 8am and will end at 3pm.  We won't have time to go out for lunch so either bring a sack lunch or we can have something delivered.

WEAR close toed shoes. Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are always advisable. Dress for the weather and plan on getting dirty. Do not wear jewelry.

EAT a healthy breakfast. Water will be provided. Bring a refillable water bottle with your name on it to help us stay green.

Please also fill out a Volunteer Release of Liability Form at http://hfhvc.volunteerhub.com/Events/Groups.aspx.

BRING a smile, a water bottle and your liability form – That’s it! ‘Pack a lunch and a positive attitude; Habitat will take care of the rest’. All construction tools, equipment and instruction will be provided.

Parking is limited so carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Date/Time: Saturday, June 1st at 8am
Location: Santa Paula
Carpool: 7:15am at Starbucks/Chipotle parking lot off of Wendy Drive (975 Broadbeck Dr. Thousand Oaks, CA 91320)
