Saturday (June 1st) - Serve Day with Habitat for Humanity (Change of Location)

The location for Serve Day this Saturday has been moved to Simi Valley.  Habitat for Humanity still need our help. The project is now a Preserve A Home project that has a quick deadline, and we're needed to help wrap up!!! If you are interested in carpooling, the meeting location has changed. See below.

If you've already registered, no need to do anything. You are still registered to volunteer; they just changed the location on your reservation.

All the other details still apply. No experience is necessary and all construction tools, equipment and instruction will be provided.  This project has a requirement for each participant to be 16 years of age or older; there are other projects that are kid friendly.  We begin at 8am and will end at 3pm.  We won't have time to go out for lunch so either bring a sack lunch or we can have something delivered.

You will need to register at We have spots reserved for us so please choose Calvary Church when you are prompted to choose an organization you are affiliated with.

WEAR close toed shoes. Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are always advisable. Dress for the weather and plan on getting dirty. Do not wear jewelry.

EAT a healthy breakfast. Water will be provided. Bring a refillable water bottle with your name on it to help us stay green.

Please also fill out a Volunteer Release of Liability Form at

BRING a smile, a water bottle and your liability form – That’s it! Pack a lunch (or we'll have something delivered) and a positive attitude; Habitat will take care of the rest. All construction tools, equipment and instruction will be provided.

Parking is limited so carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Date/Time: Saturday, June 1st at 8am
Location: Simi Valley
Carpool: 7:15am at Starbucks in the Vons parking lot on the corner of Arboles & Erbes (2072 E Avenida De Los Arboles Suite C, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362)
