Starting next week, we will begin working regularly to support the efforts of this ministry. We will be helping to sort clothing that is then distributed to people in need. One of the distribution places is right at Calvary. The third Tuesday of each month, homeless and low income people from our community come for a free meal and are given the opportunity to look for clothing.
The Hub will be sorting clothes on Friday, September 19th; but, we invite you to come experience the hands on part of the ministry on Tuesday, September 16th. Volunteers are asked to be there at 6:15 to help put out the bins of clothing. The guests look through the clothes from 6:45-7:45. Volunteers then help pack everything back up and are finished. This is a weekly opportunity and your help is always welcomed.
