September 19-21
We have a great trip planned to go support a missionary family in their service to the community. We will be doing some construction on their home and we will be painting at a day care that they run. ARE YOU ARTISTIC??? We NEED you!!!
We will also be reaching out to the community directly through offering a movie night with popcorn and candy! This sort of thing is a big treat to the local people and should prove impactful for all of us.
Please join us in this opportunity to step out of our world and serve God's kingdom!
Information Meeting September 7th
We'll be meeting Sunday, September 7 at 12:30 (room 1107 at Calvary) to talk more about the trip and answer questions. Some of the basics:
- We're leaving early Friday morning on September 19...4AM!
- Cost is $75 for food and lodging plus sharing gas money and mexico insurance (estimate is about $50, but is dependent on how many people go)
- We'll return late Sunday evening...hard to estimate due to border crossing.
